July 10 Depart the States
July 11 Arrive Shannon Airport early morning
Pick up at the airport in an Executive Coach and sight see on the way to Dunloe Castle, a 5 star 110 room property.
The hotel sits on 64 acres of parkland with 20 acres of
“Distinguished Gardens of Ireland”. The ruins of the Medieval Castle are on the property. Dinner in the Garden
Café.
July 12 Enjoy a full Irish Breakfast and transfer to Tralee Golf Club for the first round of golf. Sightseeing on the way for
the golfers. During the golf outing, non-golfers will enjoy visiting Muckross House and the gardens located in Killarney National Park, the Waterfall, 3 traditional Irish working farms. A weaving and craft shop and a pottery. Return to the hotel.
July 13 Again enjoy a full Irish Breakfast, travel to Old Head of Kinsale Golf Course for the second round of golf. This area is one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland, soak up the scenery on the way to the course and while the golfers are playing, the non-golfers will visit the Kinsale area, home of William Penn, Charles Fort and Blarney Castle. The evening dine in the Oak Room at the hotel and watch as the sun sets over the Gap of Dunloe.
July 14 After a full Irish Breakfast the golfers will travel to play a round at Ballybunion while the non-golfers will visit Limerick City on the River Shannon, see the view from atop St. Mary’s Cathedral and the old wall in St. John’s Square and then everyone will have lunch in North Kerry and visit the local markets.
July 15 After breakfast, the entire group will take a tour of the Gap of Dunloe, visiting Kat Kearney’s Cottage where you can take a jaunting car ride or go on horseback through the six mile pass. A box lunch a Lord Brandon’s Cottage and once through the gap, the boats will be waiting to take the group on a journey through the enchanting lakes to the Hotel Europe private pier. A group barbecue dinner lakeside at the boathouse then return to Dunloe Castle.
July 16 Breakfast at the hotel and then travel to Waterville for the golfers fourth round of golf. The Ring of Kerry is a full day of touring so the golfers will be picked up after their round to join the non-golfers who will have toured the first section of the Ring. Then everyone will have an opportunity to visit the Town of Kenmare and have dinner.
July 17 Last Irish breakfast at Dunloe Castle, check out and travel to Doonbeg, sight seeing on the way and check into The Lodge. This is a beautiful seaside accommodation where we will be in links cottages which have 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, and a common living, dining and kitchen area. The afternoon is free for relaxing or taking advantage of The White Horse Spa. Dinner at the Lodge.
July 18 Full Irish Breakfast at The Lodge and the golfers will then travel to Lahinch for a round of golf and the non-golfers will visit Bunratty Castle and the Folk Park. They will then pick up the golfers and all will visit the beautiful Cliffs of Moher and the Lahinch area before returning to The Lodge. Dinner this evening will be at a local restaurant/pub.
July 19 After a full Irish Breakfast, the golfers will play the Doonbeg Links while the non-golfers will visit Ennis the Capital of County Clare and have time for shopping. Tonight we celebrate Ireland with a farewell dinner in Darby’s at The Lodge where your Shamrock is served in a pint of Guinness.
July 20 After Breakfast, transfer to Shannon Airport for the trip home.
The package includes ground transportation, accommodations, full Irish Breakfast daily, 6 rounds of golf including green fees, tee times, sight seeing, farewell dinner all taxes and service charges.
Price per person – golfer $5,680.
Price per person – non-golfer $3,620.
A deposit of $1,500. per person is required to hold space on this trip. The balance is due 30 days prior to departure.
Caddies are available at approximately $85 per round.
Buggies are not available at the courses included.
